Painting Venus by Amy Adams

Painting Venus by Amy Adams

Live painting: Art with Amy Adams

Painting Venus by Amy Adams is a live art performance created on scene, inspired by the event and its attendees. It provides community engagement by way of including and gifting away quick sketch paintings during the festivities to unassuming families. It allows the support of arts and culture without an additional cost to the community. Painting Venus is not meant to be the center act, but an addition to the festival events. There is usually one main art piece created for the event holders to use or raffle off at a later date in order to support fundraising for a future community activity. I have attended this event for the last two years as an entertainer and have enjoyed its growth and commUNITY of all different backgrounds. It is a wonderful way to bring people together and support the diverse population of Medway. In the past, Medway Marches and the Medway Community Farm have engaged the residents in Medway and other nearby towns with welcoming energy. This event supports unification, celebration of culture, entertainment and education.
